Ngoh Hiang (Deep Fried / Air Fried)











Ingredient:

500gm minced meat (with fatty meat) 半肥瘦 they call half fatty half lean I guess 5 water chestnuts minced roughly 2 tbsp minced garlic 5 shallots minced 6 tiger prawns minced roughly Half carrots minced finely 

Mixed all together with 1 tbsp light soy sauce and 3 dash of pepper, 1 tbsp sesame oil , a little bit of salt , 1 tsp corn starch , 1 tsp chicken stock powder optional Marinate for at lease 30 mins to 1 hour


1 big piece beancurd skin

1 tbsp tapioca starch and a bit water mixed well Cooking oil (for Air fried)

Method:

1) Cut the beancurd skin into desire size 2) wipe with a damp cloth 3) take the marinated meat and place in the middle of the skin and fold the side and roll add the tapioca starch mixture

4) steam for 5 mins and chilled
5) Deep fried till golden brown or Air fried spray cooking on the Ngoh hiang and set to 175 degree and 20 mins

My first Pay Cheque from Nuffnang!



My first Pay Cheque from Nuffnang!

Super happy came in the mail and that is my first pay cheque since 2010 after i resign from my work after my pregnancy

This $ come in handy for me to buy a few nice CNY clothes for my 2 kids

Been blogging a while since most of my time I am at home with my kids and not working

Cooking and baking my joy how nice that I can have a platform to share with other so i started blogging.

Need some little income for my kids I came across nuffnang and join and ever since i am stuck in the big family

Fried Calamari Rings (Simple and easy)


Fried Calamari Rings 

Ingredient:

30 - 40 pcs pre-cut Calamari rings

Dash of salt and pepper

2 tsp Tabasco sauce or buffalo wing sauce

** Marinate for 1 hour **

Flour Mixture

4 tbsp fried chicken flour powder

2 tbsp corn starch or rice flour

** Mixed well **

Method:

1) Take the marinated Calamari and coat with flour mixture

2) leave for a min or two and coat again with flour mixture

3) Heat oil and fry for about 1 min to 2 mins do not over fry as it will turn rubbery
