坐月餐 Chinese Confinement Recipes - #1 Fried Sesame Oil Egg Omelette 

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp light soy sauce
  • 2tsp +1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 small clove garlic (minced)
  • 15g old ginger (pound it but omit if not doing confinement)

METHOD:

1) Beat all except 1 tbsp sesame oil in a bowl

2) Heat wok with sesame oil

3) Fried egg till fully cooked

4) Serve with bread or rice

I bought this whole chicken from giant S$2.90 only Frozen, de-froze before marinade

Ingredients:
1) 1 whole chicken
2) 5tbsp black pepper sauce  (Singlong brand) *not advertise for them*
3) 1 tbsp honey

Method:
1) Marinade at lease 4hrs or overnight
2)  Air fry or baked 30 mins 200 degree
3) Cooled , flip other side cook for 30 mins 200 degree

Saw Ms XiaXue's hair love it instantly but my sister say must bleached a few time... Ouch...

 kudos to XiaXue have the courage really love your hair colour

okay back to topic Purple or Pink Hair love both so much not sure...

leave it to the hair stylist? Hummm... I think I should... :-)

Think before you post even if you are famous very famous

Recently saw a few blogger on news... Not good news not sure if posting ranting online will shoot up fame... I don't know actually I do not have experience either as I am not famous nor am a influencer...

But really posting rants really worth the risk not afraid that others might think "Hey this who who who so insensitive" or "this who who who think so highly on him/herself?

Not afraid that if the other party might get angry things might get worse?

But nevertheless they got free advertisement from the media... Good right... Lol...

But give me I also don't want to do such thing if I were in their shoes... But arh later ppl will say Hello Who Are You? Who Are You To compare with me hahaha... Ya lah... Right loh I can't compare lah I not famous mah haha...

haze haze haze is BACK

SERIOUSLY this time of the year it's always coming back the worse it happen was 2013 and it went up too hazardous level where all are freaking out going Q for N95 mask... Okay I am one of them haha.... Ok be serious Not funny actually it's harm our health...

Burn burn burn why do you need to do the easy way out by burning and harming others life what benefits you... Really makes blood boil loh... Bloody hell lah sorry to say really buay tahan liao...

2015 it came back to hazardous level again on 24 Sept and school are closed on the 25Sept that is freaking serious

Kids are affected they are sick easily all thanks to the haze 跟 dust ...

My kids are coughing non stop looking at them really heart pain why they have to suffer the mistake made by bloody we dun know who... Please have a heart stop all these... The old the young and the pregnant can't take these... Think of your parents your kids or wife please

Recipe: Curry chicken without coconut milk (Easy)

Quail Scotch Egg



Quail Scotch Egg

Ingredient:

500gm minced meat
10 Quail Eggs
corn flour and rice flour for coating
cooking oil for deep frying

Seasoning:

dash pepper
light soy sauce

Method:
1) mixed meat with seasoning keep in fridge
2) Boil quail for 30 mins or till hard boil, shelled
3) Coat egg with flour add the meat and cover the egg with meat and coat again with flour
4) Deep fried till browned

This is my 3rd time eating at this place so far so good fresh food and good customer service .

My first time I went $25 weekend price the soup was delicious its very different from chong Qing style steamboat 



Food are fresh as they don't place outside let us pick our own there is sever to serve you... How nice is that service thumb up! 



Ample parking space and it's free somemore wahaha more reasons to visit again lol good excuse right??? 

Second time I bought it from Qoo10 $18.90 plus $3 if weekends , Friday or PH...  REASONABLE...

We went on the General Election 2015 evening time 

We are not charge $3 as maybe this is unexpected PH humm... 

Ordered the usual soup... BTW We always ordered Mala (it's a must ) and a non spicy soup for kids 




Love everything so far if not I will not even consider purchase again going a 3rd time lol saw Qoo10 on sales again $18.90 quickly fast hand fast leg purchased .... But... Heartpain lah 2nd day it drop to $16.90 haha ANW... We are still ok with it...

3rd time there everything went smoothly until humm saw ice cream but it was not offered to all tables ... Ok we are not Giam ben (greedy) must die die get ice cream how old already only think kids might love it if for sales we don't mind paying too... 



So hubby ask the server and this server mentioned it's only for full payment $25... Lol ... We went the first time why no free hahaha... NVM... Over Liao...

This kind uncle say I give ur kids free ice cream once kid each... Wow nice of him to offer my kids ice cream... They are so delighted esp my elder girl who love ice cream so much... 

They had do many flavor yummy... But we choose the classic and yogurt :-) because that is the recommend flavors 

So must recommend this place really unlike the other negative review on qoo10 this place really worth a try...  



**Really not paid Ad arh lol if not I say so much good words ppl thought paid buahaha**

Update: 

Went on the 24 Oct 2015 on Saturday it was the 4th time we went there and the air con system like a bit warm there are a few stand fans around and feeling not enough my kids are sweating away.

Order the second time for the food the food did not come and the server told us they are short of hands and very sorry they will help us the chase for the food but waited 20 mins still not sign

Write the order another time and end up only 2 plates arrive the rest of the items are not and ask the server again and he said very sorry they are really very busy and went to the kitchen and our order was not there very disappointed X3 times and nevermind we write again and by the time it already 8plus waited so long eating not much due to the food not arriving and very hungry and very HOT :-( 

Please get the air con system fixed and the I am sure that the shortage of man power can't help much as nowadays there are not much people enjoy working the F&B but i would like the enjoy my meal in a cooler environment so that i am more happy waiting :-)



My 2 kids sweating we only start eating yes you saw the fan? that fan was place there after we complain HOT and the kind uncle server help us fix a fan but too bad the fan is not strong enough at all to keep us cool please get the AC fixed thanks 

Pumpkin Rice in rice cooker


Pumpkin Rice

Ingredient:
500gm pumpkin cut into cube
250gm roast meat (I roast my own roast meat buying outside a bit expensive ) 
5 dried mushroom soak till soften 
250gm cabbage hope into strips or pieces 
3tbdp dried prawns soak till soften and diced smaller (I omit) hubby dislike :-)
4 cups rices
3 cup water or less as the pumpkin and cabbage will release water so no need add too much

Seasonings:
4tbsp light soy sauce
1tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1tbsp chicken stock power (I omit) if you want more taste but I prefer not to add for kids

Method:
1) Put all the ingredients plus seasoning in the rice cooker and just cook as per normal 
2) serve hot!

Taoco ark - salted yellow beans duck -- Fuzhou Style


Taoco ark - salted yellow beans duck

Ingredient:

(Paste )
- Taoco (Salted Yellow beans) 3 tbsp

- 2 thunb size ginger

- 10 shallots

- 5 red chillis (Fresh)

- 5 clove of garlic

Other Ingredient:

- 1 Duck

- 3000ml water

- salt to taste

- 1tbsp cooking oil for frying paste

1) Using mortar & pestle to grind  (Paste) into paste
2) Chop duck and cook for 15 mins pour away water and wash duck
3) Fry paste till fragrant add in duck and fry for 20 mins
4) Add water and boil for 30 mins cover
5) Simmer for 4 hours best slow cook for 4 hours
6) Add salt if u like it more flavorful 

Char Siew - Air fry / Baked

Ingredient:
- 500gm twee bak

- 3 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Char Siew Sauce FYI I am not advertising for them paid $$ like everyone does just in case you wonder is it a 广告 posting haha...

 - 1 tbsp honey

marinate for 30mins

Method;

1) Put marinated meat in oven or air fryer

2) Cook for 30 mins 200 degree, turn, cool for 10 mins and cook another 15 mins

3) Serve...

My baby is a big boy now time flies now he really melts your heart each and everyday he is trying to make all sorts of pattern to make you laugh and being happy.

Sometimes when angry he will start to fake a cry or smile at you how not to laugh really he is such a cutie pie

When my elder girl goes school it's just me and him home alone he will be sitting there quietly watch cartoons, love Hi5 will dance along with the music

He loves dancing can you imagine he will dance along all kinds of music it's so cute love him to every bits

I Had create this recipe for my 4yr old daughter likes eggs and chee cheong fan... here you go 2-in-1

Ingredient:

- 2 roll chee cheong fan (CCF)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- light soy sauce
- a bit cooking oil

Method:

1) cut chee cheong fan
2) heat oil fry the garlic till fragrant
3) fry egg till cook add CCF  add in light soy sauce till well combine

Pig Maw Soup 猪肚汤

Ingredient-

1 cooked pig maw

200gm hind meat

 1 pack toufu

1 pack enoki mushroom

1  can button mushroom

4 clove garlic

1 small pack white peppercorn

1 pack TAO SENG KONG white pepper soup herb

2500ml water

salt for seasoning


Method:

1) Bring water to boil add the herb pack, garlic and crashed peppercorn

2) wash the pig maw cut into strips

3) slice meat add in to boil

4) add in tofu , mushroom

5) Serve hot.
