Japanese Korokke (Croquette) コロッケの作り方


- 4 egg
- 1kg potato
- 250g (7oz) minced pork or any minced meat you desire
- 250g (7oz) onion
- 3 tbsp. butter

Part 1

- 1tsp. salt
- black pepper powder

Part 2

- flour
- beaten egg
- Panko (bread crumbs)
vegetable oil for frying

Optional :Mayonnaise



1) Cook eggs till hard boiled and mince them. 

2)  Peel and cut potatoes into chunks, Boil Potatoes until soften. Drain and mash them while they are hot.

2. Mince the onion and saute with butter until soften. Add minced pork fry until cooked. Season with Part 1.

3. In a large bowl mixed the mashed potatoes, chopped minced eggs,  onion & meat mixture

4. Divide them into equal portions.

5. Make into oval patties. Coat them with flour, dip them beaten egg, and coat with panko.

6. Fry them in oil until cooked golden brown.

7. Serve hot with mayo and veg if desire
